Every city I move to constantly impresses me with their strong, vegan community. If you're vegan and feeling out of place, Meetup is a great resource for finding other vegans and vegetarians in your area! The Indianapolis Veggie Meetup is a tremendous group with an extremely passionate organizer, and they host potlucks, dinner outings, and tours. Not to mention, they have an awesomely active Facebook page where people share veg finds in the area. I've found them to be a tremendous resource as I've acclimated to the area.
Their next coming meetup is on Thursday June 12, 2014 at 7pm at Landmark Theatres Glendale 12 where Speciesism: The Movie will be showing along with a Q&A with Director Mark Devries. Tickets are pre-sale only, so check out the meetup page for more details.
